It is a 2009 computer-animated film produced by Sony Pictures Animation and distributed by Columbia Pictures. This movie is inspired by the children's book of the same name by Judi Barrett and Ron Barrett. The film will be released in 3-D however, it is unknown if it will be only released in 3D in all theaters or just selected theaters that support Real-3D. It is Sony Pictures Animation's third film, not counting Open Season 2, a direct-to-video film.
